B.C. Family Doctors: Retroactive GPSC Fees Payment – Spring 2022

Effective April 1, 2020, GPSC fees were increased for 26 fee codes in the Physician Master Agreement. However, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the implementation and payment of these fee increases. B.C. Family physicians can therefore expect to receive a retroactive payment from MSP this spring to cover the GPSC increases. The amount will be included as part of a regular MSP remittance under adjustment code 80. This retroactive payment is automatic and no action is necessary for doctors. The following GPSC fee increases will be reflected in the retroactive payment:
