Advance payments made under the COVID-19 Advance Payment Program are paused until further notice. As announced in INFOBulletins 210103 and 210308, starting on the April 2021 Remittance Advice (RA) and ending with the September 2021 RA, payments were scheduled to be recovered in six equal installments from monthly OHIP payments. The first recovery was already applied to the April 2021 RA.

Starting in May, the ministry is pausing the recovery until further notice as Ontario continues to be affected by COVID-19. The outlook of the pandemic will determine when repayment will resume.

It’s important to stay informed about these updates since the outlook of the pandemic is always changing. If you have any questions about the update, please get in touch.
